**Whitley County GOP Announces New Leadership Team for 2025**
 
Whitley County, March 6, 2025 — The Whitley County Republican Party is proud
to announce the election of its new leadership team for the upcoming 2025-2029
term.
Nicki Venable has been elected as the new Chair of the Whitley County GOP,
with Caleb Wakeman serving as Vice Chair, Joan Western as Treasurer, and Deb
Davis as Secretary. The newly elected team brings a wealth of energy,
experience and a deep commitment to strengthening the Party’s presence and
impact in the community.
Nicki Venable, a longtime advocate for conservative values and active member of
the Republican Party, is excited to lead the team into a new era of engagement
and growth. Her leadership will focus on expanding the GOP’s outreach,
education and fostering unity within the Party. “I am honored and humbled to
have the opportunity to serve as Chair of the Whitley County GOP,” said Nicki
Venable. “Our team is fully dedicated to forging a strong, dynamic Party that
authentically reflects the core values and aspirations of our community. Together,
we will pave the way for an engaging future, and I am eager to work alongside
each of you as we step boldly into this new chapter of growth and opportunity.”
Caleb Wakeman, the newly elected Vice Chair, has been a dedicated public
servant in Whitley County for many years. His experience and strategic thinking
will be invaluable as the Party looks to build on its successes and strengthen its
platform. “I am excited to work alongside Nicki Venable and the rest of the
leadership team to ensure the success of the Whitley County GOP,” said Caleb
Wakeman. “Our Party has a bright future, and I’m ready to contribute to that
success as Vice Chair.”
Joan Western, re-elected as Treasurer, brings a strong financial background and
commitment to transparency. She is dedicated to ensuring that the Whitley
County GOP continues to manage its resources responsibly and effectively. “I am
honored to serve as Treasurer and look forward to supporting the Party’s growth
and financial health,” said Joan Western. “I am committed to ensuring our
financial operations are efficient and accountable as we work toward our shared
goals.”
Deb Davis, elected as Secretary, brings excellent organizational skills and a
passion for communication. She will play a vital role in keeping the Party
connected and informed, ensuring that every member’s voice is heard and that

the GOP’s activities run smoothly. I’m excited to serve as Secretary and look
forward to helping keep the Party organized and well-informed,” said Deb Davis.
“It’s a great privilege to serve the community in this new capacity.”
The new leadership team is eager to work together to make the Whitley County
Republican Party a stronger, more unified force in local, state, and national
politics. The team is focused on building a platform that reflects faith, family, and
community in Whitley County, while ensuring that the Party remains a voice for
