ELECTED OFFICIALS AND 2026 CANDIDATES:
It is almost time to file your intent to be a candidate for the May primary ballot. If interested, you must file with the Whitley County Clerk’s office between January 7, and noon on February 6, 2026. If you plan to use any type of funds to run a campaign, you must also file a campaign finance form, the CFA-1. School Board Candidates are to file their petition and consent to run between May 19 and noon on June 18, 2026. While school board candidates will only be on the General Election ballot and not the Primary ballot, there is an option to select your party on the 2026 forms (CAN-34 and CAN-12). Convention Delegates need to file Form CAN-37 (CAN-12 is not needed).
