The Square in Columbia City in the evening of November 7th

If you live in Columbia City or Larwill, you need to get out and support our Republican candidates by voting on November 7th! (Where did October go?) If you don’t want to stand in line on Election Day or if you have other things to do on November 7th, you can stop into the Whitley County Election Board office on the second floor of the Courthouse anytime between now and November 7th and cast your vote. Why not go ahead and cast that ballot now, so you don’t have to worry about it? The races are going to be close, so vote early!

As is usually the case, we will be gathering at The Square in Columbia City in the evening of November 7th to watch the returns come in and congratulate our victorious candidates. See you there!

Nicki Venable is the Director of Civic Engagement at Ambassador Enterprises in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At heart, she is a true public servant. Over the past two decades, she has served the Allen County and City of Fort Wayne Community. Serving with the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Community Corrections, and City of Fort Wayne Human Resources, her heart has also been affecting change by coming alongside those in need. Always serving in the background, she made it her mission to silently promote conservative candidates that shared her conservative values. Never wanting to be on the front line, it was in 2020 that she could no longer take a backseat approach to good government. In 2021, she was a candidate for the Whitley County Commissioner, District 2, elected as a State Delegate 2022, served as vice-chair of the Whitley County Women’s GOP 2022-23, appointed to the Whitley County Regional Sewer District and Columbia City Plan Commission. Nicki is an alumnus of the Ambassador Institute for Civic Engagement and supports women stepping into the political arena.

October Monthly Meeting @ Downtown The Square

Just a quick reminder that we will have our monthly Republican breakfast at The Square in Columbia City this Saturday, October 15th, starting at 8:15. The breakfast will be an all-you-can-eat buffet and the cost is $10. We will be discussing the upcoming election, including Election Day plans, our evening get-together to watch the returns come in, and our plans for the coming year. Anyone with yard signs are asked to bring them, so folks can take them home to put out. I would encourage everyone to ask friends and family to join you for the meeting, especially if they have an interest in getting involved. I would also encourage any precinct committeemen, vice precinct committeemen, and poll workers to attend the meeting.

Remember, early voting on the second floor of the Courthouse starts October 12th. Everyone on this e-mail should be encouraging their Republican family and friends to vote early. The lines are shorter and typically faster. It also avoids having to remember to vote when election day actually get here.

Breakfast Saturday August 20th @ 8:15a.m. at Big G's

After a great summer of events such as the 4-H Fair, Old Settler Days, parades, and Indiana GOP Convention it is time to get fired up for elections. We have also witnessed why elections matter and why President Trump's 3 United States Supreme Court Justice appointees were crucial in ending Roe v. Wade being a Constitutional Right. W.Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency limiting the E.P.A. Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, ruling the coach has the right to prayer. New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, the Court ruled that States with strict limits on carrying guns in public violate The 2nd Amendment. This has been a huge win at the State level with Constitutional carry going into effect July 1st for Indiana.

November Elections

The midterm elections are rapidly approaching and we need to support our candidates with winning in November. Moving forward we will also need all of our candidates to be there and discuss the needs of their campaign and how we can best support them.

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS For the 2022 General Election, filing begins on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 and ends on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Candidates need to file CAN-34 petition and CAN-12 form
